Phones, Tones, and More Phones

S.O.S. ...... honey's phone died today.  He called me from the Verizon Wireless Store and said they couldn't fix his phone.  So, I go racing my red hot mustang to Verizon to rescue honey.  Actually, I wanted a new phone...don't tell.  Honey's phone had hit the dust and they couldn't salvage the phone book.  Honey had already picked out a real cheap phone, when I arrived.  I told honey that I wanted a new phone and he could have my old one.  The nice young man waiting on honey didn't know what he was in store for when I arrived.  I told him that I wanted honey's number in my phone and that I wanted a new phone.  The young man said, "He couldn't do that.  WRONG ANSWER!  I said, " I've always done it before."  And, he said he didn't know how?  And in that statement was the problem.  The young man hadn't looked at our account and didn't know that our phones had been purchased at the same time and therefore mine could be updated as well.  The bottom line was that I got a new phone with a $100.00 credit and honey got a new phone free because of my new phone and we both got those blue-tooth devices.  Did I mention that I told the young man when he realized he was wrong about what I could do with my account, that I thought he should get off his chair and get me the phone I wanted and honey the phone he wanted.  What's wrong with the customer expecting customer service?  I still belief that we customers are paying the employees wages or they wouldn't have jobs.  Now to figure out how to use all this new technology.
